Quick Thought (Aren't they all)

After a brutal battle of 4 way stop roulette, you know, each car thinking they got there first and the edging of vehicles for fear the other will go. It went on for about 30 seconds, each car challenging the others for right of way yet not confident enough to drive through. I bowed out after 2 rounds and watched the others content to be the last to go, it really brought a smile. We are really quite territorial when we are in our cars, not ever wanting anybody to impede on our right of way to early. It's funny with all the gadgets we have on our vehicles that we can't develop one to fix this daily quandary. I worry if cars become autonomous will they be as stubborn and vindictive as us. Road Rage could get really ugly especially if the vehicle is matched to the owners mentality.
