The Iowa Senate is taking action on a state budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1st. Multiple bills were passed by the Senate Appropriations Committee Thursday as lawmakers look to pass the budget and go home for the year. The House and Senate are working to come to an agreement on the entire budget. The House has already passed a few budget bills over to the Senate.
