It's a need, a want that comes this time of year up North. the chance to enter Mother Natures altered terrain to chase a little white sphere around acres of well manicured grass with a variety of sticks. the Game is called golf and for people like me it's an enjoyable activity with both frustration and occasional success, the success keeps you coming back. Inclimate weather has delayed our opportunity to show our skills or lack thereof. In Ames the courses have realized the need to treat a possible spate of mental illness do to cabin fever so have opened for the next few days before the weather goes bad again. The rush is on and good luck getting a tee time. To my dear friends who live in Southern climes, quit laughing, you know who you are.
