Special election day in Senate Dist. 25

People in parts of four Iowa counties, including the most of eastern Story County will pick a new state senator Tuesday.  The seat in the Senate's 25th District has been vacant since former Majority Leader Bill Dix resigned almost a month ago after being caught on video at a bar kissing a female lobbyist.  Republican Annette Sweeney is running against Democrat Tracy Freese.  The Secretary of State's office says Republicans in the district hold an almost two-to-one advantage over Democrats in voter registration numbers.
