Ames Police are looking for the person, or people responsible for nearly 90 acts of vandalism in the last week. Police say the windows of cars, businesses, and CyRide bus stops have been shot out by what's thought to be a BB gun. The damage estimate is anywhere from $150 to $200 for vehicle windows, to approximately $1,000 for businesses. Police believe the total damage cost to be around $20,000 and rising. The cases have been reported across Ames, with many--but not all--happening at at night.
