A piece of Americana is quickly slipping away, the shopping mall. Online ordering is quicker, more convenient, offers a wide selection of products in one location at often times lower prices. What they don't have is personal service, a local person tending to your needs, they don't have a physical presence, you know, storefront, property taxes. They aren't contributing to your local economy both through employment and taxes but most of all they offer no place for our kids to squander their time. Shop Locally, support the people who support your community, besides you don't want a bunch of kids walking around your computer!
