Corbett falls short of primary ballot

Former Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett's bid for governor appears to be over.  A panel of three state officials said Tuesday Corbett fell eight petition signatures short of qualifying for the Republican primary ballot in June.  Corbett wanted to challenege Governor Kim Reynolds, but a Republican website published questioned his signatures. The state panel agreed that he fell short.  Corbett says he hasn't decided if he'll challenge the ruling in court.
