Ames school officials ready for bond issue push

The top administrator in Ames School District says he's prepared to spend the next month answering questions about a $110 million bond issue.  Superintendent Tim Taylor says he thinks the district's primed to build a $105 million high school.  He says it may be a decade before a better opportunity comes along. As for the bond issue's $5 million to add elementary classroom space, taylor says kindergarten numbers for the next school year show sustained enrollment increases. Ames School District voters will go to the polls April 3rd.
