The Ames Police Department is looking a few good men and women. Cmdr. Geoff Huff says they have a vacancy to fill immediately and another coming soon. He says applicants have to have some college experience, a mostly clean criminal record, and be physically fit. Huff says the department isn't necessarily looking for applicants with law enforcement experience--he says they're more interested in finding someone who's the right fit for the department and the city.
