The state's fiber optics network is the subject of an investigation by state lawmakers. During a House Government Oversight Committee hearing, State Auditor Mary Mosiman answered questions on her audit of the Iowa Communications Network. ICN Executive Director Richard Lumbard was accused of misspending nearly $380,000. Lumbard was fired in January.
