Opponents of automated traffic enforcement cameras in Iowa are a step closer to achieving their goal of getting rid of the devices. A House committee sent the bill to the floor on an 11-10 vote Tuesday. Under the bill, no traffic cameras could issue tickets to Iowans starting July 1st, but any tickets issued before that would have to be paid.
