Signs of Spring

Signs of Spring:

1. Students on campus are wearing shorts with their winter coats.
2. Geese are beginning to flock to Lake Laverne seeking open water.
3. Food trucks are increasing in numbers.
4. Seeing more baseball caps than stocking hats.
5. The ground is ugly brown.
6. Sign up signs for Little League.

Signs of continuing Winter:

 1. I’ve begun hallucinating that all of the signs I listed above are signs of Spring… my motorcycle     weeps.
