A major Des Moines employer is announcing tax-reform related bonuses. Nationwide Insurance, which employes 4,400 people in the Des Moines area says it's giving a $1,000 discretionary bonus to employes and managers, and is increasing the company's 401K match. The company says it's able to do so, because of the new tax legislation and reduced corporate income tax rate.
