State lawmakers return to Des Moines next week for the 2018 legislative session. Senate President Jack Whitver says a $35 million revenue short fall is expected to top the agenda. He says the new federal tax law, may complicate revenue estimating even further, and he'd support spending less, in case the estimates continue to be inaccurate. Whitver says he'd also like to see individual income tax reform this session. The session starts Monday.
