Iowans aren't exactly a fan of the way many issues are being handled by state leaders. The Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll found that 64 percent of people disapproved of how mental health issues are being handled. The same goes for 56 percent of people when they're asked about medicaid and 55 percent for K-12 education funding. Other topics did receive a positive response and those include issues surrounding water quality, economic development and guns.
