Abnormally dry conditions have returned to most of the state thanks to the low precipitation in November. The Department of Natural Resources says Iowa got less than a half-inch of precipitation last month, which is about an inch-and-a-half below normal. Groundwater conditions remain good in most locations except in southeast Iowa, where levels are rated in slight drought conditions.
