The Iowa School Report Card rates just one Ames school as "high performing". Fellows Elementary is the top-performing school in the Ames district according to the ratings released Wednesday. That's the second-highest designaton behind "exceptional". The rest of the Ames elementaries, middle and high schools rated "commendable". The Iowa School Report Card measures each school's performance during a two-year period on up to eight educational measures.
