Iowa graduation rate tops in the nation

Iowa is number one in high school graduation rates. A new report released by the National Center for Education Statistics found that 91.3 percent of 2016 Iowa high school students graduated in four years.  Iowa Department of Education director Ryan Wise praised the numbers, but said the work's not done.  He reiterated the department's goal of making sure that by 2025, 70 percent of Iowans have some training that they earned outside of high school.
