ISU, Campbell Agree To New Deal

Iowa State football coach Matt Campbell has agreed to a new contract that includes a hefty raise. ISU announced Monday the new six-year deal will increase Campbell's average annual salary from $2.1 million to $3.5 million dollars effective immediately. The compact also includes an additional $1 million dollars for assistant coach salaries. Campbell is 10-and-14 in two seasons at Iowa State, including a 7-5 mark this season. The Cyclones 5-4 Big 12 record matches a program high for conference wins in a season. ISU will play its first bowl game since 2012 next month.
