Tuesday's Ames City Council agenda is noteworthy for what's not on it. Mayor Ann Campbell says the council won't see an ordinance changing the city's rental housing occupancy code. She says the short holiday week didn't afford staff enough time to work out all the details. Campbell says the council will get a comprehensive staff report about parking across the city, which includes meter rates, opposide side parking near campus, and how the city's rules differ from Iowa State University's. Tuesday night's meeting in City Hall starts at 6:00.
