A Boone man is dead after an accident Wednesday on Interstate 35 in Story County. The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened a little after 2:00 p.m. on I-35 southbound near mile marker 108 south of Ames. The patrol says two trucks were side by side, when the vehicle in the left lane crosed the centerline, forcing the other driver off the road. That truck rolled when it hit a ditch, killing the driver, who wasn't wearing a seat belt. The driver's name hasn't been released pending the notification of family.
