Trial delayed for Ames man accused of attacking police

An Ames man accused of fighting with and trying to disarm police officers will wait a bit longer for his trial.  Nathan John Hays was arrested in August when police say he became violent after being served a warrant at his residence on Roy Key Ave. Police say hays was able to grab a taser from an officer.  His trial, originally set for Oct. 17th, has been rescheduled for Nov. 28th.  The warrant was for violation of a no-contact order. Hays remains in the Story County Jail on $50,000 bond.
