Trial begins Tuesday for an Ames man accused of having sex with a North Polk High School student during the 2013-2014 school year. Authorities say Kevin Muehlenthaler, 29, was charged in February with four counts of sexual exploitation by a school employee. He pleaded not guilty in March. The trial has been postponed three times. If convicted, Muehlenthaler could get up to five years in prison.
