There's a new warning about an internet puppy scam that has affected at least one Iowa family. Judy and Phil Stroy say they were looking for a new beagle puppy and found what they thought was a Texas breeder. After paying $400 they realized that cute addition to their family didn't exist. The Better Business Bureau says puppy scams are very sophisticated and can draw people in very easily. The BBB recommends buying a pet from a local shelter and to make sure to see a dog in person before buying it.
