There's something about a football Thursday Night that's not right. I understand that the TV dollars now speak louder than the fan in the stands. I also know the value the opportunity for national exposure affords a team, but it's just not natural. Most employers respect your loyalty to a team but are not likely to give you the next day off, thus you may be forced to use a valuable day of vacation, those with less conscience and respect for their bosses intelligence will develop a one day tropical disease on Friday. As far as I know classes meet on Friday but as many of us know, those were always optional any week. Give me my good old Saturday tailgates, food the DR. warns you about, plenty of pain killing or celebratory liquids and the day after to recover and I'm a happy fan, Thursdays just not right.
Cyclone Hockey Talk tonight at 6pm "Live" from the Sports Page on West Lincoln Way and the hometown station of the Cyclones 1430 KASI.
