State's finances center of budget briefing

More details will be revealed Wednesday on where the state stands financially. A budget briefing will be held with the Departments of Management and Revenue.  The briefing comes just ten days before the 2017 fiscal year books are closed and it amid speculation of a special legislative session.  Gov. Reynolds can use $50 million of cash reserves, but any amount higher than that requires a special session.
