Iowa income on the rise

Iowans income is on the rise.  The U.S. Census Bureau says the median household income across the state last year was more than $56,000, up nearly two percent since 2015.  Wage growth and additional employment as the leading causes behind the increase.  The poverty rate declined in the state from over 12 percent in 2015 to 11.8 percent in 2016.
