Iowa 4th District congressman Steve King is making his opposition known regarding recent reports of a possible deal between President Trump and Democrats to protect young immigrants from deportation. King criticized the president on Twitter for taking what he saw as a soft stance on reform. The Republican tweeted that if the report of a deal is true, Trump would lose his credibility and his base of conservative support. The president has counter-tweeted that "no deal was made on DACA" and the commitment to build a wall along the Mexican border is going forward.
