Ames man sentenced in 2016 shooting

An Ames man has been sentenced to 22 years in prison, on drugs, robbery, and firearms charges. Kevin Williams, 24, was convicted in April.  Evidence at trial showed Williams set up a drug deal in Ames in August of 2016, which turned into a robbery.  He was accused of shooting the victim four times.   Williams was arrested in Chicago several days later.
