Iowa utility workers will help Florida communities recover from hurricane Irma. MidAmerican Energy has sent 250 employees and contractors to help make repairs and restore power to homes and businesses. The Iowa crews include electric line workers, tree trimmers and support staff. They are expected to assist with storm recovery in Florida for several weeks.
