Iowa's Secretary of Agriculture is being sought by President Trump for a key role in his administration. Trump nominated Bill Northey to serve as Undersecretary for Farm Production and Conservation in the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The post was created back in may when the USDA was reorganized and Northey would need to be confirmed by the Senate. He's in his third term as Iowa's Secretary of Agriculture.
