Harvey drives up gas prices

Iowa drivers are paying $0.17 more for a gallon of regular gas compared to a week ago.  The rise is blamed on a shutdown of oil production during hurricane and tropical storm Harvey. Triple A says the average cost for a gallon of regular is $2.46 in Iowa.  The nationwide average is $2.51. Davenport is posting the lowest prices statewide at $2.36 a gallon, followed by Cedar Rapids and at $2.39.  It costs Des Moines drivers the most to fill-up at $2.60 a gallon for regular gas.
