Regents Tuition Review Set For Thursday

The Iowa Board of Regents is set to review the findings of its tuition task force. The task force's five-year tuition report will be presented to the regents Thursday in Iowa City. The report highlights tuition increases all three Iowa public universities say are needed by 2022 unless the state increases funding. Iowa State and the University of Iowa have laid out 7% annual tuition increases for instate undergraduates during the next five years, while the University of Northern Iowa's proposed tuition hike ranges from 1.75% to almost 4%.
