Iowa State University's College of Business will use a $7 million gift to expand it's facility on-campus. The college says the money's coming from the Gerdin Charitable Foundation. The Gerdin family gave Iowa State money to put up the business college's current building, which opened in 1998. School officials say the four-story, 35,000 square foot addition will be located next to the original building. It'll house new classrooms and faculty offices. Russell and Ann Gerdin started Heartland Express trucking, a nationwide compnay headquarted in North Liberty.
