Iowans now know the design of the state's new license plate. The Department of Transportation announced Monday that the public chose the "City and Country Reboot" design over two other proposals to replace Iowa's current license plate. It received about 113,000 of the 290,000 total votes collected at the Iowa State Fair and on the DOT's website. The "Flying our Colors" design finished second, about 3,000 votes behind. The new plate will be phased into during the next 10 years or you can pay $5 to get the new plate sooner.
