For all the hub bub and rush by Iowans to find certified eclipse viewing glasses they may be useless. the skies over our state look to be cloudy and rainy most of the day. My suggestion is you cut your losses and go back to where you got them and say they just didn't fit right and want a refund. Another is to put them in a hermetically sealed baggy and put them away until 2024. Eclipse or not it will be a dark day in Iowa. Of course the "bright side" is the thousands of Iowans who's eyesight won't be damaged because when we're told not to look up we have a tendency to see why.
