300 rally for peace in Ames

More than 300 people came together in Bandshell Park in Ames Sunday to rally against racism after a white nationlist demonstration in Charlottesville, Virginia turned deadly Saturday. Organizer Josh Hall says event like Sunday's, with a strong foundation of love, will remain peaceful. Attendees took their message down Main St. after the rally. Remembrance ceremonies were also held Sunday in Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Dubuque, and Sioux City.
