A Madrid-based company will create 48 new jobs in Huxley thanks to an aid package. The Huxley City Council voted last week to create a tax increment financing district worth $584,000 for Continental Manufacturing Chemist. That comes in addition to $829,000 in loans and tax credits from the Iowa Economic Development Authority. The company, which was considering expanding to Missouri, will move into an 80,000 square foot building in Huxley's Blue Sky Commons.
