Keeping with tradition, the Iowa State Fair will have dozens of new foods at this year's festivities. Whether it's chocolate lava cake, a pancake taco or cheesy fried enchilada funnel cake, the state fairgrounds will highlight 40 new delicacies. The Thanksgiving balls are garnering a lot of attention with vegetables and Iowa grown turkey rolled into a ball, breaded with stuffing, deep fried and topped with sweet and spicy cranberry sauce. The fair boasts nearly 200 food stands with a full list available on the Iowa State Fair website.
