Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will make a stop in Iowa City on his upcoming book tour. McMillan Publishers says Sanders will be at the University of Iowa on Aug. 31st to promote his new book Bernie Sanders' Guide to Political Revolution. Prior to his Iowa City appearance next month, Sanders will participate Saturday in the community improvement seminar "Revolution Iowa: From Protest to Power" in Des Moines. Sanders lost the Democrat 2016 Iowa Caucus to Hillary Clinton by less than one percent.
