Gas prices creep up

The average gas price in Iowa is up slightly from a week ago, but well below the national average.  Triple A says Iowa drivers are paying $.02 more a gallon than last week, at $2.16, but statewide prices are still $.09 below the national average $2.25. The national price is also $.02 higher than last week. Davenport posts the cheapest prices at $2.08 for regular, followed by Cedar Rapids at $2.11.  It costs drivers in Waterloo the most to fill-up at $2.24 a gallon.
