At least five businesses are damaged after a fire broke out in a Marion County town last night. Crews were called to the west side of downtown Melcher-Dallas about 9:30 and found one building engulfed in flames. It spread to several others and quickly required several area fire departments to help battle it. The fire engulfed the post office, a bank, a bag store, a bar and a flea market. So far, there's no report on the cause of the fire or any injuries.
