A Boone grocery store has reopened after a man cut his throat inside the building early Sunday monring. Hy-Vee officials say a customer seriously injured himself around 3:00 a.m. in the Boone store. Customers in the store at the time were taken out the building’s rear entrance. The victim was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital. Company officials say hazardous materials workers cleaned the store and reopened it about 1:30 Sunday afternoon. It is unclear where the victim was transported to or what his status is. It's the same story where, in October of 2010, Boone police shot and killed a man who ran through building with a knife.
