By 1430 KASI

Late spring storms left a wake of damage Thursday night.  Areas including Des Moines and the Quad Cities were with hail up to the size of baseballs.  Thousands were left without power in central and eastern Iowa as high winds were also reported.  Multiple severe thunderstorm warnings were issued as the storms blew through the state.
