The Iowa Department of Public Health is expanding the number of debilitating medical conditions that can be treated with medical cannabis oil. The health department filed emergency rules Tuesday implementing a portion of a new law signed last month allowing iowans to recommend, possess, use, dispense, deliver, transport or administer the drug. Updated registration information for patients and primary caregivers will be available on the Department of Public Health website beginning Monday.
