Kim Weaver is ending her bid for Congress in Iowa's 4th District. The Democrat announced on her Facebook page Saturday that she's been the target of death threats, and that family health issues and personal health risks led her to drop out of the 2018 race. On Twitter, Republican Congressman Steve King, who defeated Weaver last year, disputes her claims of death threats. He says he thinks Iowa Democrats wanted her out of the race.
