Crop planting varies across Iowa

The latest Iowa crop report is showing different outcomes in some parts of the state.  This week's report shows farmers in central Iowa have been able to plant two-thirds of their corn crop.  The same can't be said for farmers in northeast Iowa as they've only been able to plant slightly more than one-third of their crop.  Overall, a little more than half of the corn crop is now in the ground as farmers were able to spend half of last week in the field.
