Iowa drought- and dry-free

For the first time in almost a year, the Iowa Department of Agriculture's latest water summary update shows no sign of drought or dryness in Iowa.  Conditions in the state continue to improve, especially in areas of southeast Iowa that had been dry over the winter.  Thanks to a wet and cool April officials say there are no drought designations in the state.  It was the 13th straight April with above-average statewide precipitation.
