An Ames-based Church is sending college students from Iowa State University to China later this month on a missionary trip. One thing about China -- it's illegal to try to convert someone's faith in that country. Several Chinese experts say they worry the missionaries could be detained or interrogated if they're caught evangelizing. The experts say getting kicked out the country would be the best scenario if the missionaries are caught. Nno one from the missionary group had any comment about the upcoming Chinese trip.
