Three bills are getting Governor Branstad's signature Friday even though one is facing a legal challenge. Branstad's office says the governor will sign bills on abortion, voter ID and medical malpractice. All three bills passed the House and the Senate in the final weeks of the legislative session last month after much debate. The abortion measure, which includes a ban on abortions after 20 weeks, is being challenged in court by Planned Parenthood of the Heartland and the ACLU of Iowa.
